Up until the middle of May, I was a single mom. I got married to Jack, last April. Now besides my own 4 children, I have 2 more. I spend most of my time with my 6 children. We are constantly playing and having fun. My hobbies are playing with the kids, crocheting, listening to music, spending time outside, and reading.
During the nice weather I tend to be outside a lot. Whether it is just sitting outside in the front yard watching the kids or up at the lake, I enjoy it all.
I began homeschooling my oldest boy, Scott, when he was half way through the 5th grade. It has been an adventure that I would never change.

I grew up in Massachusetts and Missouri, but moved out to California when I was in my junior year of high school. And here I will stay. I graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1988. I have been a mom since I was 19, so I lead a life full of surprises.
Since I started homeschooling 6 years ago, I have been unable to find a home school group in my area. So I took the next step. I became a local contact for CHN-California Homeschool Network for the Tulare County area in California. I knew there had to be others in my area who needed some information, just like I did. Now, I just need to find a support group that fits us. So far there hasn't been any luck in that. Just might have to think of starting one myself.
